Open your class
Know where LinoClass takes you after signing in, switch class from its name at the top of the menu, find the "My classes" list, create a new class and understand why the free plan allows only one.
Read the activity feed
Recognise what the dashboard shows, read a feed card, filter by student, category or date range, approve a piece of work or a comment from the feed, send an activity back to the child, tag a post, pin up to 3 posts to the top of the feed and know what to do when the feed is empty or an action fails.
Collapse the menu
Shrink the left menu to a column of icons when the computer is plugged into the projector, find every page, the class name and your account while the menu is collapsed, open it again, and understand why the choice does not follow you from one computer to another.
Open a notification
Tap a notification to land on the conversation, the piece of work or the feed card concerned, understand what counts in the number on the bell, find a notification you already read under "Earlier", and know what to do when a notification does not lead to the right place.
Switch child
Pick a child when you arrive in LinoClass, switch to another child from their card at the top of the menu or from their name in the top bar, go back to the "My children" list, and understand why a consent form opens instead of the feed.
The top of a page
Recognize the top of a class page, find a page's main button to the right of its title, open the bell from the top bar, and know where all of this sits on a phone.
Review a flagged item
Recognise the "Needs review" badge LinoClass puts on a piece of work, an announcement, a comment or a message, show a blurred picture, let it through or remove it, and know what to do when the review fails.
